Brownsburg Public Library
The mission of the Brownsburg Public Library is to offer lifelong learning for the community and patrons of the Library. 

Literacy Tutoring

One-on-one tutoring is available to anyone 18 years and older who needs help in reading, writing and life skills, such as assistance with resumes, job applications or schedules. Tutoring sessions are held at the Library during regular hours and tutoring times are arranged between tutor and student.

English as a Second Language Classes (ESL)

If you are new to the English language and would like some help join us on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1-4:00 p.m. or 5:30-8:30 p.m. These classes are taught by professional educators, are FREE. All are welcome!

Adult Basic Education and GED Classes

Adult basic education (ABE) classes and GED classes are offered at the Brownsburg Public Library through the Wayne Township Adult Basic Education program.  

These classes are offered free of charge to eligible students who are at least 16 years of age. Interested persons under 18 must be officially withdrawn from public school and must present exit papers at the time of registration.

These classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The morning session meets from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and the afternoon session meets from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The classes provide instruction in reading, math, language, spelling, life skills, GED preparation, ESL (English as a Second Language), family literacy, employability and communication skills.
