Support Your Library: Book Donations

Supporting your library through book donations makes a huge difference.  Whether your copy of Charlotte's Web is used to replace a worn title or we sell it in the Library Shop it's a win-win.  Proceeds from items sold in our Library Shop are used to bring quality programming to you. Please read through the following information before donating your items.

Guidelines for Book Donations

  • The Library does accept book donations.  We ask that these items be clean and free from mold and pests
  • Those books not selected for the collection are sold to the general public in The Library Shop.  Proceeds from the Shop go to the Friends of the Library.
  • Those books not suitable for resale will be recycled.
  • Donations to the Brownsburg Public Library are tax deductible.  Please ask for a receipt at the Circulation Desk.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at
(317) 852-3167.  Thank you for your support.
